Low Enrollment Cancellation

Although we make every effort to assure class limits are met, Heartline BLS&CPR Training LLC, reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. In the event of a class cancellation, any student who has paid for his/her class in full will have the option to reschedule in the next available class within two weeks with priority enrollment at no additional cost. If there are no available classes within two weeks, that student may receive a full refund.

Cancellations

A 30% Cancellation fee will be applied to any student who cancels at least 10 to 14 days prior to the beginning of any scheduled class. Any cancellations made between 7 to 10 days prior to the beginning of the any scheduled class will result in a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made 7 days or less will forfeit any and all money that was paid for the class.

Tardy Policy

Students must arrive in a timely manner and be present for the entire class to receive certification.

Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will be denied entry. If a student arrives late, that student needs to either communicate with the instructor and/or call the main office and talk to a team member to reschedule for the next available class. Failure to do so will be considered a No- Show. ( If marked as a No-Show, The No-Show policy will apply resulting in no refund.) 

Emergency Cancellations

Emergencies happens from time to time, and are often without notice. If a class is cancelled, due to severe weather, instructor illness or injury, family emergency, or other matters considered to be an emergency by Heartline BLS&CPR Training LLC, registered students will receive priority enrollment in the next available class. If there is no available class within the following two weeks and there is no other arrangements made with the company, a full refund will be issued to the student within 7 to 10 business days.

Rescheduling

A student may request a schedule change (one time only per scheduled class) as long as that request is in writing at least 7 days prior to the start of the original scheduled class. There will be no additional charge for the request as long as it's done in a timely manner. When rescheduling for another class it must be done with 90 days of the original class. In the event the class can't be rescheduled within 90 days, all extensions must be approved in advance and a fee may apply.

Dress Attire and Guest

There will be no guest allowed in any classroom while training is going on, nor will any guest be allowed to visit the training/classroom during any scheduled breaks. Absolutely No Children, will be allowed in any training/classroom at any time during their parent's training. All students must wear proper dress attire. No offense pictures, words, or images of any kind will be allowed. All students must wear closed toe shoes.

No-Shows

If a student is listed as a no-show, any deposit or registration fees will be forfeited altogether (meaning student's will not be given a refund). In the event only a deposit was paid, prior to scheduling another class, all fees will be required to be paid in full. Special exceptions may be considered on a case by case basis and with the approval of the management team Heartline BLS&CPR Training LLC, a student will be considered a no-show if that student failed to show up for their scheduled class or have their original class rescheduled.

Corporate Rates

Our corporate rates for companies or groups requires at least 10 more people at the time of booking. We do offer onsite training. As a reminder Heartline BLS&CPR Training LLC, cancellation policy will not apply to any corporate rate quotes you must refer to your signed contract. Due to pricing discounts that may or may not offered any and all refunds will be outlined in your contract.

Refund Policy

Due to our low cost offered for our services refunds will be issued on a case by case basics. Heartline BLS&CPR Training LLC, reserve the right to refuse a refund to any customer that fails to cancel or reschedule a class within the timeframe outlined in our cancellation or rescheduling policies. This refund policy will not apply to any corporate rates or contracts. Any and all training materials, key codes, or equipment purchased by the company on behalf of any student, group, or company understands that those items will be "ALL SALES ARE FINAL", and no refund would be issued. Refunds for cancelled classes will only be issued to students for cancel their classes at least 14 days prior to the start of any scheduled classes.

Book Policy

Per American Heart Association (AHA) policy, all students are required to have a book prior to their scheduled class. If you already have a book, and it's the current edition and in compliance with AHA guidelines, you can use your own as your study material before class. If you do not have a book, you may purchase one from us, and it will be given to your instructor to provide to you on your day of class. Books are non-refundable. Books must be in the student's possession at all times during class to receive certification.
